Anduril Industries Delivers First Ghost Shark AUV to Australian Navy
Anduril Industries has delivered the first Ghost Shark Extra Large Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to the Royal Australian Navy. The vehicle, based on Anduril's DiveXL platform, is designed for cost-effective, stealthy, long-range ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) missions. The AUV was produced at a new 80,000-square-foot facility in Sydney, Australia, and was completed ahead of schedule. The delivery follows a $1.1 billion contract awarded by the Royal Australian Navy to Anduril in September. The first low-rate production hull was unveiled at a factory launch ceremony attended by Australia's defense minister and the head of the Royal Australian Navy.
