Caliber Becomes First Nasdaq-Listed Company to Build a Chainlink Treasury
2025-09-09 21:04

Caliber (NASDAQ: CWD), a diversified alternative real estate and digital asset platform, has become the first Nasdaq-listed company to build a Chainlink treasury. The company initiated its digital asset strategy with the purchase of Chainlink (LINK) tokens. Caliber has also appointed Michael Trzupek as the first member of its newly formed Crypto Advisory Board (CCAB). The CCAB will oversee and guide the implementation of Caliber's Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) Strategy, which aims to build and stake a treasury of LINK tokens for long-term value and yield. Michael Trzupek, who has been on Caliber's Board of Directors since 2019, is currently the CFO at Imagination Technologies. He previously served as CFO at Core Scientific and held senior finance roles at Intel and Microsoft. The initial purchase of LINK tokens led to a pre-market stock surge of over 2000%. Caliber plans to fund these LINK acquisitions using existing ELOC cash reserves and by issuing equity-based securities. The company, led by CEO Chris Loeffler, aims to gradually build a significant LINK position in its treasury through consistent and opportunistic acquisitions, providing shareholders with transparent, market-to-market exposure to LINK.
