The State Administration for Market Regulation has issued the 'Anti-Monopoly Compliance Guidelines for Internet Platforms.' These guidelines prohibit platform operators from engaging in practices that lead to resale price maintenance or minimum resale price agreements. The prohibited practices include: (1) using big data and AI to automatically set resale prices, (2) enforcing uniform resale prices through platform rules governing API calls, data usage, traffic allocation, promotions, store management, and user services, and (3) directly or indirectly setting resale prices using user profiling and predictive algorithms.
