Delta speeds Seoul-Atlanta connections starting Wednesday
Delta Air Lines announced on Wednesday that passengers arriving from Seoul's Incheon International Airport (ICN) into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will no longer have to wait for and recheck their luggage before connecting to their next flight. The baggage will now automatically transfer to their connecting plane, similar to domestic connections. Delta estimates this change will save travelers an average of 25 minutes during layovers. This adjustment applies to inbound flights from South Korea and follows similar recent changes for flights from the U.K. and Australia, as part of broader efforts by airlines and the Transportation Security Administration to reduce some requirements for passengers flying from certain countries.
