This stance was communicated during a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, as confirmed by a statement from the Egyptian presidency. In parallel, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty briefed European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on Egypt's efforts to de-escalate tensions between Iran and Israel.
