Huawei Unveils Atlas 950 and 960 SuperNodes and SuperClusters at Huawei Connect 2025
At the Huawei Connect 2025 conference, Huawei's Rotating Chairman Xu Zhijun introduced the concept of a super node, which is physically composed of multiple machines but operates logically as a single unit for learning, thinking, and reasoning. Huawei unveiled its latest super node products, the Atlas 950 SuperPoD and Atlas 960 SuperPoD, supporting up to 8,192 and 15,488 Ascend cards, respectively. Additionally, the company launched the Atlas 950 SuperCluster and Atlas 960 SuperCluster, with computing power exceeding 500,000 and 1,000,000 cards, respectively.
