Ibrahim Rezaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that Iran's continued membership in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) is no longer meaningful. He argued that the treaty has not provided substantial benefits to Iran and has failed to protect the country from attacks on its nuclear facilities. Rezai also noted that international agreements have been disregarded, and he suggested that it is now time for Iran to withdraw from the NPT.
