Pennsylvania's 2025 Municipal Election Includes Key Races and Decisions
2025-11-04 21:11

Pennsylvania's 2025 municipal election includes key races and decisions, such as the retention of three state Supreme Court justices, the election of a judge for vacancies on the Commonwealth and Superior Courts, and local elections, including the Pittsburgh mayoral race. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Voters should verify their registration online using their name, county, ZIP code, and birthday. The deadline for new registrations and changes was October 20. Voters who have not voted in the last two federal elections and ignored a county notice about their registration can still vote by signing an eligibility form at their polling place. If a voter moved within Pennsylvania less than 30 days before the election, they should vote at their old polling place. If they moved more than 30 days ago but did not update their registration, they can still vote at their new polling place. If a voter moved to a new county, they must visit their old polling place once to fill out a form with their new address. Voters need to bring proof of identification, such as a government-issued ID, utility bill, or bank statement with their name.
