Longi Green Energy Publishes Two Breakthrough Achievements in Nature

Longi Green Energy, in collaboration with multiple universities, published two breakthrough achievements in the journal Nature on November 10 and 13, 2025. The first achievement is an ultra-thin crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cell, which achieved a small-area efficiency of 33.4% and a commercial-size flexible tandem cell efficiency of 29.8%, setting a world record for the first flexible tandem solar cell, suitable for lightweight photovoltaic applications. The second achievement is the HIBC solar cell, which reached a conversion efficiency of 27.81% and a fill factor of 87.55%, both setting world records. This structure was pioneered by a Chinese team, holds full independent intellectual property rights, and is compatible with existing production lines, promoting the industrialization of high-efficiency solar cells.
