Ministry of Finance Expands and Increases Fiscal Interest Subsidy for Personal Consumption Loans
2026-01-20 11:56

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notice to optimize the fiscal interest subsidy policy for personal consumption loans. The key changes include expanding the scope of subsidies by removing restrictions on consumption areas, allowing all types of consumer spending and new credit card bill installments to be eligible for subsidies after verification by the handling institutions. Additionally, the subsidy standards have been increased by eliminating the cap of 500 yuan per transaction and the 1,000 yuan cumulative limit for up to 50,000 yuan in spending at one institution, while maintaining the annual cumulative subsidy limit of 3,000 yuan per borrower at each institution.
