Musk Claims Tesla's FSD System is Safer Than Human Driving
2026-03-29 15:23

Elon Musk stated that Tesla's 'Full Self-Driving' (FSD) system can predict pedestrian intentions and is more than ten times safer than human driving. Additionally, Tesla has initiated the Terafab project in the United States, a massive chip factory aimed at integrating the production of logic AI chips, memory, and advanced packaging. The factory targets an annual production capacity of 100 to 200 billion chips, with an initial monthly output of 100,000 wafers, which can be expanded to 1 million wafers. This exceeds the current capacity of mainstream wafer factories and is intended to meet the self-sufficiency needs for AI chips used in Dojo supercomputers, FSD, Optimus robots, and Robotaxis, thereby reducing reliance on external suppliers.
