The order includes measures such as exercising existing authorities under 51 U.S.C. 50905(b)(2)(C), determining which functions are exempt from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and establishing or using categorical exclusions under NEPA for specific launch and reentry activities. The Secretary of Transportation is also directed to reevaluate, amend, or rescind regulations at Part 450 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, as appropriate and consistent with law.
