Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that he will visit TSMC to discuss the production of RUBIN chips, which are based on the RUBIN architecture featuring six new chips. He called TSMC one of the greatest companies in human history and a very worthwhile business to invest in. Huang mentioned he will only stay in Taiwan for a few hours. He emphasized the importance of supporting the U.S. technology system and said he has explained the significance of artificial intelligence to former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding U.S. chip tariffs. Huang indicated he informed Trump that artificial intelligence will progress with or without the United States. Negotiations with the U.S. are ongoing, but it is too early to draw conclusions. Huang also announced that Nvidia will hold its GTC conference in Washington, D.C. for the first time.
