On January 20 of last year, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO). The United Nations received the notification on January 22. According to the regulations, member states must wait one year after submitting their withdrawal application before they can formally exit. As of today, the United States has met this requirement and has officially exited the WHO.
