Airbus announced that approximately 6,000 A320 series aircraft need to be urgently grounded for repairs due to the flight control software being affected by strong solar radiation. Multiple airlines, including Air France, EasyJet, and American Airlines, reported flight cancellations or delays. American Airlines has 340 aircraft that require repairs.
